Podcast Episode: America’s Reading Crisis

This podcast was made for my graduate-level course in audio production at The George Washington University in the Spring of 2025. The episode investigates the decreasing rate at which Americans are reading books, noting that less than half of Americans read a single book per year. I explore whether this phenomenon could be a cause of changing educational standards in the U.S. by interviewing my 5th-grade teacher.

Speech: Written for Author Sally Rooney for the 2025 UN Climate Week

This draft speech was written for my graduate-level speechwriting course at The George Washington University in the Spring of 2025. My principal is Irish author and environmental advocate, Sally Rooney, and the speech focuses on holding corporations accountable for climate change and environmental destruction.
